60 Lateral Hops
Its Saturday and its time to suck it up and get that extra credit throwdown for the week!
3...2...1...Go! You will perform 60 Double Unders/ 120 Double Unders/ 60 Lateral Hops. Next, you will perform 30 American Kettlebell Swings. Then you will complete 15 burpees and that is one round. Your score is the time it takes to complete 5 rounds.
The weight for this should be heavy to moderate.
The intended stimulus for this workout is a slower but steady pace. A slightly pushed tempo can lead to bigger chunks of reps with fewer breaks.
If you're still getting good at dubs this is a great workout to push yourself and get em going. If you're scaling to single under that's cool. Just us a 2 to 1 ratio. If you don't have a Rope you can do lateral hops over something 4 to 6 inches high. lateral Hops are at 1 to 1 ratio.
If you're not proficient in American (Overhead) swings you can change these to Russian (To your eyes) Swings. Whichever version you do please mind your lower back. make sure you're using your hip drive to thrust the kb forward.
