At 3...2...1...Go perform a Tabata Interval of pull-ups. Eight rounds of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. Then you will perform a Tabata Interval of Push-Ups. Eight rounds of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. Then you will perform a Tabata Interval of Sit-Ups. Eight rounds of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. Then you will perform a Tabata Interval of Air Squats. Eight rounds of 20 seconds of work and 10 seconds of rest. In total this will be 32 intervals. There is no additional rest between movements. The score is the total reps performed in all of the intervals.
The intended stimulus for this workout is an interval based effect. High output for a period of time and a full rest for a period of time. Thus sending your heart rate skyrocketing and then back down over and over again. A great way to build the endurance engine.
You can do a Tabata type workout with almost any movements. Its another great way to get it in anywhere.
